it seems that ron feels awkward with colors on his clothes XD
I have two theories to explain that:
1) It may be that his culture views vibrant colours much like current Anglo Saxon cultures (i.e. UK, USA, NZ, Aus, etc) view pink clothes.
2) Given the dangers that he faces in his land, colours make you stand out so grey scale is like camoflage.
Interesting observation, could be some truth to all of the above actually. Especially the second point considering how dangerous his homeland is. :]
